West Coast has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to innovation in football technology. In collaboration with Focus AV they have taken their skills and applied them in a whole new way with the introduction of LED screens and an iPad scoring system at Mineral Resources Park.
The LED scoreboard was constructed with the experienced hands of Focus AV and a local metal fabrication contractor. A massive 9 x 5 metre viewing area towers 8.5 metres above the ground for a captivating viewing experience. To ensure an optimal audience engagement, it has been fitted with Vuepix’s MV Series high-brightness (8000nit) outdoor panels with 7.8mm pixel pitch — a combination ready to bring any content alive no matter where the sun is.
An exclusive iPad control system means visuals can be changed remotely.
West Coast Eagles’ IT staff and key users have received in-depth training on the system, with ongoing assistance from Focus AV to tailor the control interface for any additional requirements.
